History STEAM: Exploration and Human Migration

March 31, 2025 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skokie Heritage Museum
8031 Floral Ave.
Skokie, IL 60077

(847) 929-8001

Explore how and why people move. Solve transportation and way-finding challenges, experiment with aerodynamics, create maps, and investigate historical documents to discuss human migration in Skokie over time.

Our History STEAM day-off programs investigate key STEM concepts and big questions from the humanities as students discover how things work and why things are the way they are. Each day will feature hands-on activities and lively discussions centered around a core topic, combining multiple disciplines of study to critically engage students with the world around them.

Ages 8-12. Fee: $60 (resident) / $75 (non-resident).

Check out our other upcoming History STEAM workshops: Pixel Wizards (Jan. 29), Plague Science (Feb. 17), The Written Word (Feb. 28 and March 21), and Textile Science (March 7). These workshops can also be privately booked for student or Scout groups.
