During the next two weeks, Skokie Sports Park will operate under abbreviated hours, as the facility continues to install 'TrackMan Range' golf launch monitors.
TrackMan Range is a radar system that reads club and ball data by the changing frequency of microwaves reflected off the club and ball (much like a doppler weather system). This high-tech monitor gives golfers all the data they need, is incredibly intuitive, and tremendously performance-enhancing. Golfers won’t just improve, they’ll improve faster than they thought possible.
Data includes club speed, angles, ball speed, distance, height of ball, direction and many more. In addition to Sports Park's monitors, you can download the app for anytime analysis of your swing, via your favorite app store.
In addition to range practice, TrackMan offers games, as well as virtual play on some of the world's most famous golf courses.
