HauntedIllinois.com, the clearing house for Illinois haunted houses, recently stopped by the parks district's Scream Scene and gave the event a nice review. Kudos to Corrie Guynn, Lisa Sullivan, Crystal VanHyning, and their staff and volunteers for creating a unique event again this year.

Scream Scene is open from 7-10 p.m. for five more nights, the next two Friday and Saturday nights, Oct. 24, 25, 31 and Nov. 1, as well as Thursday, Oct. 30.
