Music

Offering children an enriching environment for refining skills, fostering friendships, and deepening musical comprehension and accountability. Participants should possess a minimum of one year of experience playing the violin, viola, cello, or upright bass and are expected to bring their own instrument, accessories and a collapsible music stand. Cadet and Prelude orchestras are for students with 1-2 years experience. Sinfonietta and Concert orchestra are for students with 3+ years experience.

This class will teach the fundamentals of tuning and caring for the instrument, strumming, picking, rhythm, and playing basic chords and melodies. Students will learn songs that they can practice on their own and perform in class. Instructor: Mitch Thomas.
