Music Art Animals

Kids will explore “The Carnival of the Animals,” a humorous musical suite by Camille Saint-Saens. Each week, students will listen to the composition, learn facts about the animals Saint-Saens depicted, and create animal art. Lions, elephants, turtles, birds, fish, fossils, and a few other surprising animals will be marching through this class. Come and join the musical animal fun! No class 1/20 and 2/17. Paragraph Builders

Young writers will learn the form and content of the basic unit of writing: the paragraph. Using their hand as a model, the 5 finger paragraph will become the unit of writing that they will carry with them throughout their academic years and beyond.
