Skatium Ice Arena hockey classes are divided into three programs for all ages and abilities.
1. Click here for Beginner Hockey Class information for kids who have yet to play organized hockey.
2. Our Youth Tier III League is for the 5- to 17-year-olds who have taken classes or acquired the skills to play on an organized team. Leagues are offered in the fall and spring seasons.
3. Adult Instructional classes are designed to improve a player's base of knowledge and skill.

• Winter: December 15 for residents, December 22 for non-residents
• Spring: March 15 for residents, March 22 for non-residents

Public Skating Sessions

Tuesday: 10:15 a.m.– 1 p.m.
Wednesday: 11:15 a.m.–1 p.m.
Thursday: 10:15 a.m.– 1 p.m.
Friday: 10:15 a.m.– 1 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 2–3:15 p.m.
Public Skating Fees
All Ages: $7
Skate Rental: $4
No reservations are required for public skate sessions or events, please pay your admission and skate rental fee at the Skate Rental desk upon arrival.
Birthday Party Packages
45 minutes in the Party Room. Capacity: 50
One hour of exclusive ice time.
One round of cups, napkins and cake plates.
Skate rental: $3 per pair

Beginner Hockey Classes: Learn to Skate

Intro to Hockey Flex Classes for ages 3-13
The Skatium offers introduction to hockey classes as a 10-class drop-in (no pass or pre-registration needed)
10 Class Pass: $125 (skate rental fee separate)
Class Drop-in: $15 per class
Skate Rental: $3 per class
Participants are encouraged to have their own equipment; however, we do have a limited supply of equipment available for use.
Beginner Hockey 1
Sundays: 11:05–11:45 a.m. & 11:45 a.m.–12:25 p.m.
Thursdays: 4:50–5:30 p.m.
Beginner Hockey 2
Sundays: 12:25–1:05 p.m.
Thursdays: 4:10–4:50 p.m.
