Our workshop series "Flax Fashion: From Sheep to Shoulders" will teach you the full process behind making a scarf from spinning to dyeing to knitting or crocheting. This is the second workshop in the series, where you will explore natural dyes to create customized yarn or fabrics.
On Sun., Jan. 26, learn how to homespin your own fiber using a drop spindle. On Sun., Feb. 16, craft your own scarf as you learn how to knit or crochet from our experienced instructors. These workshops may be taken individually or as a sequence.
Ages 9 and up. Fee: $40 (resident) / $50 (non-resident). Materials included.
