Build science, engineering, and math skills exploring the world of textile arts. Create different fibers and run experiments testing their tensile strengths, explore ancient Inca rope bridge-building techniques, craft geometric quilt blocks, and more.
Our History STEAM day-off programs investigate key STEM concepts and big questions from the humanities as students discover how things work and why things are the way they are. Each day will feature hands-on activities and lively discussions centered around a core topic, combining multiple disciplines of study to critically engage students with the world around them.
Ages 7-12. Fee: $80 (resident) / $100 (non-resident).
Check out our other upcoming History STEAM workshop,
Exploration and Human Migration (June 6). These workshops can also be privately booked for student or Scout groups.
