Named after Ethel Untermyer who directed a successful referendum campaign in 1958 to form the Lake County Forest Preserve District, Ethel’s Woods has undergone a dramatic restoration of North Mill Creek that took 12 years to complete. Plan on rambling three to four miles of easy trails with Emily Oaks Nature Center staff. Bring a packed lunch; van transportation provided.
For adults ages 18 and up.
