Our workshop series "Flax Fashion: From Sheep to Shoulders" will teach you the full process behind making a scarf from spinning to dyeing to knitting or crocheting. This is the first workshop in the series, which will teach you how to homespin your own fiber using a drop spindle.
On Sun., Feb. 9, explore natural dyes as you customize your yarn colors. On Sun., Feb. 16, craft your own scarf as you learn how to knit or crochet from our experienced instructors. These workshops may be taken individually or as a sequence.
Ages 9 and up. Fee: $50 (resident) / $63 (non-resident). Materials included.
