Explore a different era of art history each day this winter break. Make your own art as you recreate famous works and practice techniques pioneered by important artists, all while learning how art informs our understanding of history.
Today's theme is Modern Art, a overarching term that encompasses a variety of styles from c. 1860s-1970s that rejected traditional methods and forms, adapted to modern circumstances and new technology, and often involved abstract representations of figures or concepts.
