Today's theme is Art Noveau, an international style of art popular c. 1883-1914 that encompassed many forms and functions beyond prints and paintings, including architecture, jewelry, ceramics, and furniture. It emphasized natural forms, movement, and the breaking down of the distinction between Fine Art and decorative elements.
