The Skokie Park District was awarded a ‘2013 Exceptional Workplace Award’ today by the Illinois Park and Recreation Association (IPRA).  

The district’s winning narrative described its wide variety of employee benefits, including family health care, generous time off policy, free employee assistance services, fitness and nutrition seminars and contests, safety training, free health club memberships, staff gatherings and staff philanthropic opportunities.
