Skokie's Devonshire Preschool is an arts-focused program offering state-of-the-art classrooms for children ages two to four. Class times and days conveniently meet the needs of your preschooler, offering a developmentally-appropriate curriculum that fosters each child’s social, emotional, language, physical and intellectual growth. Teachers degreed in early childhood education plan activities around a weekly theme. Field trips and extended-day enrichment programs are included in the program.

2025-26 Registration
Registration for the 2025-2026 school year begins March 10 for Skokie residents (March 17 non-residents). Applications are available online here or at the front desk. Registration is in-person, by appointment. Contact preschool director Haley Carr (hcarr@skokieparks.org or 874-929-7444) to make your appointment.
Children must be toilet-trained for the 3- and 4-year-old classrooms. We are a peanut-free and tree nut-free program. See the Parent Handbook here.
Devonshire Preschool is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and follows a calendar similar to the area public schools.
