A double-elimination basketball extravaganza. All participants will receive a T-shirt. Medals will be awarded to the first-place teams in each division. Free Agents will be teamed up together. In the event of low enrollment, boys and girls divisions may be combined.

This professional clinic develops all-around athletes by providing personalized training, and emphasizing skill enhancement and player development. The program offers players a blueprint to maximize their potential, preparing high school student-athletes for the rigorous demands of collegiate and professional basketball. Illinois Basketball Academy founder, Coach Danilo, is a former professional basketball player from Serbia. He has coached youth athletes in Chicago for more than a decade.

Join our March Basketball Bracket Challenge for both the Men’s and Women’s Tournaments! We have two divisions: Youth and Adult. One registration fee covers entry into both brackets. Winners from each division will receive exciting Skokie Park District prizes! Once registered, you’ll receive an email with the group name and password to join. We’ll be using ESPN’s Tournament Challenge for both brackets.

This class is for the basketball beginner looking to understand the game, learn new skills, and have fun!

Players will develop more advanced skills such as various guard/post techniques, setting screens, moving without the ball, and offensive spacing. Defensive instruction includes man-to-man, denying the ball, helpline and boxing out. Players will develop their shot and increase their range using proper mechanics. Scrimmages are played every week.

The next step in basketball instruction, this class will build upon the fundamentals taught in the Basketball 101 class. A slightly faster paced environment will be geared around competitive play, encouraging tactics such as attacking the basket and aggressive defense. Players should have basic knowledge of the rules and be able to dribble comfortably in order to succeed in the class.

Players begin to develop more advanced skills such as various guard and post techniques, setting screens, moving without the ball, and offensive spacing. Defensive instruction includes man-to-man, denying the ball, helpline and boxing out. Players spend time developing their shot using proper mechanics to be effective further from the basket. Scrimmages are played every week.

Girls will develop basketball fundamentals including shooting, ball handling, dribbling, passing and more. The clinic will feature: 5-on-5 full court play with active instruction and tips from the coaching staff of Hot Shots Sports.

This program introduces players to team-oriented concepts as well as more advanced skill mechanics, while also refining fundamentals learned in earlier levels. New players will be able to learn these core concepts as well, and class will be separated to ensure players of varying skill levels progress at an appropriate pace. A focus on body movement and control will be prioritized to enable players to utilize all aspects of the game

Develop your basketball skills through game play! Each week, players are challenged through various games including 1-on-1, 3-on-3, and 5-on-5. Coaches referee and guide the class to enhance the players understanding of the game.

Pick-up basketball for adults 40 and over. Pay drop-in fees at the Weber Leisure Center front desk or register online for all 12 weeks.

All players must attend at least one of the evaluation dates but may attend more if they choose. Game times are contingent on the number of teams registered and will be announced once teams are assembled.

The Community Basketball League grades K-2 is a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to learn and grow their basketball skills! Hot Shot Sports will be leading practices following a curriculum to ensure fundamental skill development. Games will be coached by volunteer parents. Each week the athletes will practice for 45 minutes and play a 45 minute game. This will allow for focused skill development and plenty of opportunities for kids to apply what they've learned in a fun, competitive setting.

Learn various guard and post techniques in order to develop passing, shooting and dribbling skills in game situations. Defensive instruction includes man-to-man, denying the ball, help-line and boxing out. Athletes qualified for Basketball 202 should possess intermediate shooting and dribbling skills, a basic understanding of the game and are looking for a more competitive basketball experience. No class 11/27.

In this extended version of Game Time Basketball, players receive an extra 30 minutes of practice and game time, as well as a jersey. Focused solely on player development, players get as many reps as possible both in practice and during games. Open Basketball Over 40 and True Potential allows players to get back into the game they know and love. When skills get rusty from limited playing, it can be intimidating to jump into a game with 20-year-olds spinning and dunking. Basketball over 40 levels the playing field and brings like-minded, competitive adults together for a good run. The emphasis the commitment to creating "basketball community" thru three paramount aspects: Competition, Courtesy and Camaraderie. Basketball players are encouraged to compete aggressively, but we know it must be within an atmosphere of courtesy. This is supervised and monitored by staff utilizing the True Potential Competitive APP, an iPad app that uses AI and machine learning to create the most evenly matched teams possible, which leads to maximum competition and level of play.
