This low impact aerobics and sculpting class is designed for mature adults who want a full body workout combined with great music and a variety of exercises. Groove is a unique and fun-filled, full-body workout designed to be inclusive and accessible to people of all fitness levels, set to different genres of music. Volunteer for a one-of-a-kind experience, which will impact hundreds of children in just two hours of your time. You will hand pack rice, soy, dried vegetables, and a blend of vitamins and minerals into bags that are sealed, boxed, and shipped all over the world, to reach the neediest children. No jewelry is allowed in the facility packing room, except wedding bands. After packing, we will go to lunch at The Royal Buffet. The fee includes transportation and lunch. FMSC accepts donations. We‘re off on a guided tour of the birthplace of Pulitzer and Nobel Prize winning author Ernest Hemingway! The tour will reflect upon the influence and impact that the family and the Oak Park community had on the early life of the author. Please note there are five stairs outside of the home to get to the porch, with an elevator available to the second floor. Fee includes transportation, tour, and lunch. Location: Oak Park

Adventure awaits you in Door County! Travel with Angela and Janeen to Fish Creek, Wisconsin for our first overnight trip. If you enjoy our day trips, then this trip is a must! This three-day, two-night trip will include coach bus transportation, your hotel room located in Fish Creek (double occupancy only), a scenic boat tour, and a total of five meals including a traditional Door County Fish Boil and dinner at a supper club. In addition to Fish Creek, we will explore nearby towns and villages. There will be time for shopping and exploring on your own. A complete itinerary will be available prior to registration. Please note that we have a mix of first floor and second floor rooms and there is no elevator. Cancellations must be made before March 21, in order to receive a full refund. This seminar is for those new to Medicare or close to their enrollment date or have been a Medicare beneficiary for some time but never really understood their coverage. We will discuss the basics of Medicare coverage from A to D, give an overview of the Medicare program, and share information to help inform those with health care decisions to be made in the future. Please register at least one week in advance to meet class minimum.

Learn the basics of this classic card game while learning to play Triple Play, a variation of the Canasta game that uses seven decks of cards. It is fun and easy to play. Best described as Canasta on steroids, once you learn this game, you will be able to play all other variations of Canasta. May be played with 2-6 players. Instructor Rosemary Tate.

Join us, in conjunction with CJE SeniorLife, for a free workshop for people aged 60+ on completing a Power of Attorney for Healthcare and Medical Directive (Living Will). The program will begin with a discussion followed by the workshop. The legal discussion will be led by Tamara Kushnir Groman, JD, Sr. Manager of Legal and Benefits Services at CJE SeniorLife. Through this 90-minute program, you will learn how to utilize the latest high-tech safety features in your current car, what technology to look for when shopping for a new car, and the safety benefits of blind spot warning systems, forward collision warnings, lane departure warnings, smart headlights, and more! If you have a trip to a Spanish speaking country in your future, or would like to learn Spanish to use in your community, then this class is just what you need. You will learn how to use Spanish in your daily life and learn about Spanish culture. By the end of the course, you will be able to introduce yourself to others, describe weather conditions, and more. The class will be taught by a university professor. The last class will culminate in lunch at a restaurant where you can use your Spanish speaking skills to order. The cost of lunch is on your own.

Let's get together for some old-style fun and games! Bunco is a fast-moving dice game played on teams trying to score the most points. The White Elephant game is a fun gift exchange played by rolling doubles on the dice. Each person must bring 1 gift, wrapped or in a gift bag, with a value of $10. Be creative! Ligiht refreshments will be served.
