Under the guidance of a PGA professional, the Skokie Park District offers classes (at right), lessons, clinics and camps for golfers of all ages, at both Skokie Sports Park and the Weber Park Golf Course.

Weber Park Golf Course is the perfect place to learn to golf or work on your short game. Located behind the Skatium Ice Arena on the northwest side of Skokie, the par 3, 9 hole course features bent grass greens, challenging sand traps, and beautiful landscaping. The course is also home to the game of FootGolf, a golf and soccer hybrid sport with giant holes and a very small learning curve.

Skokie Sports Park is home to one of the top 50 golf ranges in America, featuring Trackman golf launch monitors, and an automatic tee-up system. The park also offers 'The Bunker' an indoor golf simulator, 27 holes of adventure mini-golf, as well as batting cages with a wide variety of speeds. The amenities are perfect for fully customizable parties and events.

Trackman is a radar system that reads club and ball data by the changing frequency of microwaves reflected off the club and ball (much like a doppler weather system). This high-tech monitor gives golfers all the data they need, is incredibly intuitive, and tremendously performance-enhancing. Golfers won’t just improve, they’ll improve faster than they thought possible. Data includes club speed, angles, ball speed, distance, height of ball, direction and many more. In addition to Sports Park's monitors, you can download the app for anytime analysis of your swing, via your favorite app store. In addition to range practice, Trackman offers games, as well as virtual play on some of the world's most famous golf courses.

Indoor Simulator League

Our new indoor Trackman simulator ‘The Bunker’ is up and running! Be the first to compete in our, first ever, spring indoor golf league. Players will compete head-to-head each week on selected 18-holes from top courses around the world. Players will pick a time each week to complete their round. Closest to the pin and long drive contests will be added each week. Seven weeks of play, a one-week playoff, and a championship round to decide the winner!

Spring Night Golf Scramble

Groups of two will compete under LED lights in a scramble format. Shotgun start. Register early! Fee is for one individual player. Arrive by 7:30 p.m., to check-in.
