Devonshire Playhouse presents Treasure Island

(1.19.15) This Devonshire Playhouse Adult Theater production of the classic Robert Louis Stevenson novel, features a 14-year-old boy who ends up in the center of a stunning tale of piracy on the high seas, featuring the infamous Long John Silver, perhaps literature's most famous hero-villain of all time. The show is adapted and directed by Orion Couling, nationally-recognized stage combat instructor and licensed tall ship captain.

During the opening weekend, a special pre-show event highlighting "True Stories Of Piracy on the Great Lakes!" will begin 30 minutes prior to showtime. Join the director of Treasure Island and experience the incredible tales of real pirate adventure that happened right here on these magnificent inland seas and sing Sea Shanties that will rival those by Long John Silver himself.
